For a long time already, athletes and professional teams call upon chiropractors to improve their physical performance, stamina, coordination and recovery after injury.
Several studies have demonstrated the effectiveness of chiropractic care in improving sports performance: One study for example shows improvement ranging from 18% (after 6 weeks of chiropractic care) to 30% (after 12 weeks of chiropractic care) in agility tests, balance, proprioception, kinesthetic perception, strength and reaction time, whereas the control group (not receiving chiropractic care) only showed a 1% or so improvement.
